Agricultural Secondary Containment Assistance Program (AgSCAP) - Edwards Aquifer Authority

Agricultural Secondary Containment Assistance Program (AgSCAP)

The Edwards Aquifer Authority (EAA)  established a program to offer financial assistance for complying with the secondary containment requirements found in Subchapter G of Section 713 of the EAA’s Rules for Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST).  The Agricultural Secondary Containment Assistance Program (AgSCAP) offered landowners located on the Recharge Zone, with registered AST system(s), an opportunity to obtain funding for upgrading a part or all their AST system.

Landowners interested in participating in the AgSCAP have all been contacted and are currently in the upgrade process.  AgSCAP is closed to new enrollees, but information regarding future enrollment opportunities will be provided on this site when available.

If you have any questions please contact Ben Urbanczyk, Environmental Principal Inspector, at 210-222-2204 or 800-292-1047.

In observance of Thanksgiving Day, on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th the office will be closed.
