Clay Binford

Clayton Binford is a resident of Medina County and serves as the appointed member to the board representing Uvalde/Medina counties. The Medina County Commissioner’s Court appointed Binford to the Authority board in December 2004. His term will expire December 1, 2008.

Binford was born and raised in Castroville and is a 1994 graduate of Medina Valley High School. He is a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University, holding a B.B.A. in Business Management, and a 2001 graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law. Binford is currently employed as an associate in the San Antonio office of Dallas-based law firm Winstead Sechrest & Minick P.C., practicing public finance law.

Binford is an active member of the community and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Medina Valley ISD Education Foundation. Binford also raises cattle and Quarter Horse racehorses on his Medina County ranch.
