Mark B. Taylor

Mark B. Taylor, a resident of San Marcos, represents   Edwards Aquifer Authority District 11, which covers the   southern portion of Hays County and the western portion   of Caldwell County. Mr. Taylor was appointed to the   Authority’s board of directors in September 2007 to fill an   unexpired term, which runs through December 1, 2008. Mr. Taylor currently serves as a member of the Finance/Administrative, Research and Technology, and Recharge and Recirculation Ad-hoc committees of the board. 

Mr. Taylor is a practicing attorney and previously served as city attorney for the cities of San Marcos and Victoria. He is a former member of the South Central Texas Water Advisory Committee (SCTWAC), representing Hays County. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Mississippi State University and a law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
