District 3

Bexar County

 

George Rice

George Rice is a resident of San Antonio and represents District 3, which covers central Bexar County. His current term expires December 1, 2006. Rice serves on the board’s Finance/Administration Committee, Research & Technology Committee, and the Habitat Conservation Plan Work Group.

Rice is a Groundwater Hydrologist and Independent Groundwater Consultant. He holds a Master of Science degree in hydrology from the University of Arizona.

Rice is a member of the Sierra Club, Smart Growth/Save our Aquifer, Regional Clean Air and Water, Kelly Air Force Base Restoration Advisory Board, American Civil Liberties Union, and the Bexar County Green Party.
