Government Canyon Spring A photograph at the headwaters of the stream created by Government Canyon springs. The springs are located on Government Canyon State Natural Area. This is a small intermittent spring that issues forth out of Edwards Limestone, in the aquifers recharge zone. Although the spring is of very low volume, it is an important resource for indigenous wildlife.
